Viral & Pathogen Detectionn 'Standard'

Fellas, the 'value proposition' from the outset is that viral (and other / future pathogens) air monitoring and detection is [if all goes to plan] a new 'standard' for enclosed space safety IMO. Remember all that stuff about seatbelts, Carbon monoxide monitoring, etc. etc..?

If SARS-CoV-2 is going to become 'endemic' as many (if not majority of experts) predict, then the idea is 'to be on the look out for it' even much later on, ie. during the waning stages of the pandemic (whenever that might be...) and likely well beyond.   In certain settings, such as LTC facilities it's difficult to envision a future where it is not mandated even by law IMHO, based on the enormous risk/cost (to life, health system, etc.) should localized outbreaks/'flare-ups' occur -- and that assumes that they can even be limited to those settings without [even more] BioCloud (or similar detectoin equipment) in most other publicly frequented places.

At some way future date, such 'detection' equipment should arguably be fitted wtih capability to 'identify and capture' new pathogens that it doesn't 'recognize' and alert administrators for the purpose of testing stored live samples.  That will come way later (to this tech area IMO) but in the meantime forwarding thinking actors (perhaps on-the-ball governments like South Korea) who are either in a high risk context (e.g. due to density) or are prepared (rich enough) to invest freely (e.g. UAE) may be first up to begin this journey.

Idea is to stay out of the weeds of 'this or that' during the present covid crisis IMHO (in terms of arguments for-and-against, NOT in terms of hustling for sales).  If I didn't see a future of viral (and other pathogen) detection as a new 'standard' or 'tables stakes' for safe buidlngs, instiutional settings, and ultimately residential I would be out of this investment.   But I do.  The key is as first mover you don't want to succumb to the fate of Beta (vs. VHS).  You want to do it right, protecting your IP, cultivating durable networks of distribution and consolidating 'proof of concept' and 'ROI' along the way.  Point is, it's extremely freakin' tricky and KNR needs to make sure they get it right.  The encouraging 'mitigating variable' (commercially that is) however, is the urgency given the seriousness of the [current] application and the enormous market size -- the capturing of only a small amount of, would mean incredible success for KNR (and its shareholders IMO) IMO both early on and into the future IMO.

It's not a child's game (even if it is a hoot to watch and participate in..) so important to keep things in perspective -- while staying up-to-date on your DD as always. GLTA.  GO KNR!!!!
