Kontrol Technologies Corp > The connectivity milestone...

The connectivity milestone...

Ok, we don't know what the milestones are. But we know that Biocloud can notify of a detection event through the cloud and push a text alert to the user.

And we know this:

https://www.canada.ca/en/public-health/services/diseases/coronavirus-disease-covid-19/covid-alert.html

So....

So why would the Canadian government go all in on Biocloud without making it talk to the existing notification network. Making that happen should not be hard technically. But it could create bureaucratic hurdles. While it was relatively easy to circumvent regulatory authorization as a medical device it would be rather simplistic to think we could avoid all regulatory authority. Negotiating the details on that 'connectedness" could be tricky (because there are potential customers that could balk at that, right?)

Just a thought. Could that be something standing in the way of all the news we aren't getting?

Or, if you want to go full conspiracy... DARPA.  Remember when PG tweeted. You think they would announce that before the tipping point. Maybe that is part of the equation. Lots of production we can't understand, right.....?

DARPA is an interesting thought . Could they be testing Biocloud for the US government ? Testing it for the US market ? Could they just be testing it for the market place ? Or do they even care about Biocloud as they are doing their own thing? Questions that may or may not ever get answered

Something is fishy, it should be selling like hotcakes.

I think some practicality elements and the price tag reduce the market size. It is interesting how we had clues that their continued work on the design (less circuit boards, for example) is likely reducing the cost of production yet there does not seem to be an indication that they are lowering the price. Reduction in the number of Canadian distributors is slso a probable indicator of lesser ...more

The reduction in circuit boards was not a cost reduction effort but a response to the needed chips not being available... they told us that. And the sourcing of those surely got more expensive not cheaoer. So there is no reason to expect a price reduction. Yes, if we just sell some we can be okay but how could we sell any more than a handful if they don't work as expected before those sales ...more

No, they said that manufacturing and product improvements are normal when transitioning from prototypes to commercial designs.

Ghezzi mentioned it once so we know he is aware of it. He commented how it was interesting that what they were looking for sounded a lot like BioCloud and that's where it ended. Leaving us wondering whether they applied or were going to apply. But given that this is US military, I wonder whether it would be open to foreign technologies or having an angle to incentivize US innovation and jobs ...more

Pretty clear from the pic in the tweet that at least some of the factory is working on scoreboards, so it's for sure not all BioCloud.  Maybe arenas see covid downtime as an opportunity to upgrade scoreboards. https://twitter.com/oes_inc/status/1377699304916320261[/quote]

Nothing in those photos impresses. The pile of boxes is neither large nor well tended. That was obviously not meant to boost Kontrol or Biocloud. Looked like a fishing boat where we need to see a Corvette (for some of you I should clarify I don't mean the car). Huh. At least the employees are happy! And how ironic they seem to be enjoying peeps - when we can't get one out of Ghezzi ...more
