Future of Kontrol

PG was interviewed back in Nov and to quote him " We are in this for the long term and the big win " Like most of you on this board my initial investment was for BC invention. I was willing to lose a small position if things did not work out. As I investigated more and realised there is a core business in the right place at the right time I began to increase my position. Like any body else I still hope that BC takes off. Truth be told, I now believe in their long term goal which is to  be bought by a large cap company. PG is showing more humulity and seems very calm. He spent time talking about Biocloud today calling it an amazing invention. Executing milestones is another goal of PG and Kontrol. Seems to me in a short period of time I wonder how they would rate their performance so far. Understanding through my own experience in business that there are always road blocks, its how you handle the certain daily problems and how it will effect your future bottom line. The more I see from PG and his team the more comfortable I feel. What would the motives be for a company like Danby to get involved ? Makes me curios and excited for the future. I have enjoyed the roller coaster ride so far and look forward to the future.

Very well stayed and I couldn’t agree more.  The core business will expand significantly in the next couple of years and many of the posts on this board are from people trying to distract long term investors and drive SP down IMHO

Many of the posts on this thread are by those who feel that they have invested and lost a lot of money on careless communication. And now they want to have a reasonably comprehensive and accurate picture of what is going on to make a more informed decision. Even with BC I entered this investment with the long-term outlook. But I should have paid $2 for that, not $4, $5+. And no, it is not solely ...more

I wish I could say the same.. sadly I will never sell at a loss, unforunately I do not want to put anymore money into KNR in order to average down lower than I already have.

Yes, the Danby thing... remember, they made a big deal about getting better air filtration is schools and did a big photo op, And they are going to help make Bioclouds.... huh.

Personally I'm not putting too much stock in the Danby agreement.  I still remember KNR pumping 20,000 per month and look how that turned out.  Danby might have agreed to make Bioclouds only if and when KNR ramps up to enough paid volume to make it worthwhile to Danby, maybe 500/month or something.  In that scenario, if KNR keeps selling peanuts we might never see Danby.

Whydunnit, I agree. The Danby newsrelease is all about "manufacturing" and "production" of BC. I see no wording on "marketing" or "integration" with their existing products. Not yet anyways. The way I see it, if Kontrol needs 10 units, they will put together and charge for 10 units. If it is 100 units, they will do so. And when they charge, whether they ...more

I'm not even convinced Danby will be called in to assemble an order as small as 10 or 20.  They might not want to go through the trouble of reallocating resources, personnel, factory space etc. for a piddling order, and then have to reverse all of that the next day (or two hours later the same day).  OES can handle piddling orders easily enough, they've already built some.  ...more

You nailed it at the end. I do not want to feel like I am trying to figure out Paul Guessi anymore on information that can be clearly provided without any breaches of confidentiality.

You can think of a few reasons but none of them good given the chasm between impression and reality. I am holding out hope that reference to the Q1 conference call is a suggestion that we will get a crystal clear picture and so many loose ends will finally be tied and we will be able to make informed decisions starting with a clean slate.

You two are like crows on a wire. You are picking apart something that  taken at face value is positive. At the very least its positive pr and at best an indicator of a large ramp up in production. We don't know, none of us. But you guys like to oil up and flex your speculation muscles. Impressive.
Comment by canyousayiii on May 08, 2021 9:33pm
Some keep guessing and hope for the best, some want better communication from the company because "hope" is not a strong investment strategy. To each their own, and we can agree to disagree.
Comment by yearninyank on May 07, 2021 7:03pm
You may be right... but the issue of "believing" in the possibility of this technology is key to this for me. I can't see Danby agreeing to have their name besmirched by getting involved in some unproven scheme (the spectre of which haunts us). So that deal, to me, means legitimacy. And then when I see how they are into promoting their involvement with the ventilators and the photo ...more
