Is this just a runup prior to financing?

I was in mgw for a while but got out at .50 with a small loss last summer. Just looked at financials and these guys are hurting for money. It's possible this is just a runup before a financing.

 

I really don't see much else that could be driving this stock right now.

I think many people forgot about this companies true and future potential or maybe not enjoy everyday good luck all

  Keep going, you didn't really tell me anything. They had a financing last year but only got through the first tranch, now they have a loan deal, but that is not final yet. They are outr of cash. They still don't have their acmpr. What would be the catalyst for this stock price to be going up the way it has?

Publicly, there is no news that would justify such a rise in recent share price.  We can speculate that it was oversold last year, but often the markets can just be irrational.  In the past, the company has seen large gains prior to significant news, which really shouldn’t happen.  Somehow, information gets passed along and volume and share price go up. Not saying this is what is

Thanks for your honest opinion. I do not know why I could not rate that comment but I give you 100% rating.   I would be back in again on real news of the acmpr, but it's almost like if that is the reason for the runup, this company is not worth investing in becuase they leak. Not saying they do, will be interesting to see any new news.

What do you consider garbage stock? Your wmd and huge hit 52 week lows too. The tide doesn't seem to be lifting wmd. It's been red for days.

  It ran up last year along with all the other mj stocks. Last year the story was about california, nevada, the production facility and the acmpr. There was a good story, the story is not much changed from then, still no license, the plant is coming along but buring cash, the financing fell through and they are now trying to get loans, so the story to me seems bad now.

Going through the MD&A, there was several incidents of what appeared to be shear incompetence by management.  I expected this to rally nevertheless with the tide raising all boats but never expected the run to the extent it did. You could grow a full size Douglas Fir before these guys could put out an ounce of pot.
