pre market below $1.00

Ouch, damn if you sell at that lost.  Can somebody tell me what is the outcome of NBG on NYSE if the country defaults?

I don't know if I'd want to hold the stock to find out.  This is a possible 50% upside/downside short term.  Perhaps maybe as soon as Monday

The big question is what will happen to NBG should Greece go it alone and break away from the Euro. If they vote no in the referendum, that's where they will end up and that will lead the way for others to follow that are in similar financial position. Best to wait and see what goes after Sunday July 5th.   jmo G1945V

GV, a great play woulda been buy july 10 $1.50 calls and july 10 $0.50 puts...or some variation...yes vote NBG flies and no vote NBG is worth $0.00..i bet they vote yes, greece and grecians have a lot of wealth they just prefer to live off the sweat of others, yes means some belt tighening (fat guy just needing to slim down and stop supersizing) no vote means famine, anarchy and Russian occupation ...more

Hello, prince: either way I find it very risky. I don't like puts and calls anyway.  jmo G1945V

G1945, thx for ur response. Hypothetical question is if they opt out of eurozone and reinstate gheir currency. I understand the the valuation will take a beating in Greece, how will this impact nbg on american stock market. Same devaluation but in US dollars?

Well, that is a tough one to answer. There are positives and negatives. (The SPP for NBG may be much improved ...just a gut feel.) https://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/what-a-grexit-would-mean-for-greece-and-for-europe-a-1019542.html
