Review the geology of Wellgreen.
Numerous complex minerals ( bottom of post )
See anything missing ?
Serpentines.

No Serpentines mentioned.
No Nickel Values in Solid Silicate Solution. ( color green )
No Iron / Nickel Serpentines ( just states iron nickel )

Where do the nickel's come from ?
Iron Nickel ( sulphides )
Nickel bonded with Platinum Groups

Yet ... when there's sulphide iron nickel adjacent to
Silicates there's also replacement swap deposits.
Iron sulphide nickel merges with the serpentine silicate.
Portions of the nickel perform an Ionic swap exchange.


How could this be ?
No mention of, Serpentines ?
Geological analysis and data carried forward from previous years.
Compilation of each owner, along with 43 101 tech reports compounded
on and same litersture carried forward.

What did the former miner Hudson mine ?
Sulphides.
Most likely veered from the - serpentines.
Richer sulphide grades.

BUT....given the contextual ( timeframe ) i'd make that bet and say,
Former miner's only sought sulphide nickel and had no knowledge of
Serpentine Silicate Nickel. ( cept for iron/nickel with in the serpentines. )

Lower nickel prices back in the 70's
with the coin toss of, do we mine the ( 1.5% nickel sulphide )
or....low grade nickel serpentine ?
No brainer.

It wasn't till recent last few decades...
Serpentine nickel deposits were given a second look over.


Some may question,
How could other minerals increase in grade if only magnesium
values increased ? ( bulk concentrate precicuit )  ( former post )
Answer - Wellgreen deposit host nickel platinum group metals.
Platinum group metals have relationship bonds with - nickel.
Increase nickel magnesium, high odds platinum group also increase in %.
Both metal groups are transitional metals.

Refer to Wellgreen's numerous ( nickel / platinum group ) bonds - end of post.
As one can see... there are 3 varieties of, nickel.
Plats nickel, Iron nickel, Silicate nickel.

In addition,
assaying for solid solution nickel in serpentine can be tricky.
If chloride nickel bond ( host rock chlotite )
spectrometer light apparently has difficulty detecting
single chloride bonds.

We are told nickel chloride is = NiCl2
Having 2 chloride
Yet... this is the dried salt of nickel chloride
If placed in water to dilute, it can disassociate whereas chloride separates from
the nickel.

If one researches light spectrometry
Best detection ( absorption bands  ) dealing in light spectrum + wave lengths
Darker the color = best for detection

Ni Chloride = 435 - 450 nm wave length
Ni Sulphide - 400 1000 nm
Ni Nitric - 400 and 800 nm wavelength

Each research study varies in wave lengths.

Take for instance...this research study speaks
about the detection of, complex nickel bonds
with other metals... hint, hint, wellgreen' has numerous.

This is the kind of mineral detection needed to
separate, distinguish, then identify complex multibonds.
EG - Platinum Group bonded to Nickel.

When a solution containing nitritc ions is added to
a nickel solution, the characteristic geen nickel color
becomes more intense.

This deepening is not observed
upon the aduition o1 nitrate, sulfate, or chloride ions.
Since a number of: crystalline triple salts containing
nickel, nitrite and soins other metal ion have been pre-
pared, all of which seem to contain the
hexanitroniokol-
ate ion (Ni(NO2)c)*

(3, 4, 14, 15, 21), it would be ofinterest to see if the
deepening of color were due to the
formation of such a complex  ion in the solution.

7.6 Minerals
Table 7-2, Table 7-3, and Table 7-4 after Cabri et al. (1993) list the opaque minerals and PGM-
bearing minerals found in the deposit. The elevated presence of rhodium, iridium, osmium,rhenium, and ruthenium within the mineral suite provide an opportunity for additional potential economic contributions from these metals.
Rhodium is present on the Project in highly anomalous concentrations as compared to the concentrations found in Noril’sk ores in Russia and other significant ultramafic systems globally (Hulbert 1997).
