Nickel Creek Platinum Corp > some positives from first day trading post-split

some positives from first day trading post-split

Over 1 million shares (pre-split) traded today with the share price increasing 30% on the TSX.

Due to the split, the bid ask spread opened up and I was finally able to snag some shares below 1 penny (pre-split).

There are only about 2.5 million shares (post-split) in retail's hands now.  Many of them are in strong hands such as mine.  There are hardly any retail sellers left at the bottom now.  Only one way to go, and that coincides with commody prices in general, which is up.

Let's hope this new $1+ price (at least on the TSX side as of today) attracts the new investment dollars that management is seeking.

$1.5 per share post split is equivalent to the $0.015 per share price we had before the split.  It needs to get into the double digits for many of us to break even.

No worries, share price is moving up nicely.  Over the most of 2024 the OTC seemed to lead in terms of volume, time for the TSX to take back control and pull the OTC price higher with it. We all know that the market cap of NCP is ridiculously and unrealistically too low.  More folk will be waking up to reality.......

Does Ncpcf still trade on the otc now or not since the rollback? Now volume last two days.

NCPCF  no longer trades.  The updated ticker symbol is NCPCD. The early results so far is that this gambit worked and the share price has been freed up to move in the only direction that made logical sense:  upwards. The first hurdle is upon us, the $2 CAD mark which shouldn't be too difficult to take out.  $3.20 would represent the 52 week high on on a split-adjusted ...more

I think that there is a concwerted effort at play to try to wipe out thevlittle guys.

ALL owners (including Electrum, etc.) saw their shares rollback by the same 1:100.  How exactly do you believe the small investors are being wiped out?  Please elaborate.  I am not saying you are incorrect per se, but I don't necessarily see any indication what you say is correct either.

Not everyone bought in at one cent. Some had higher input costs and these guy would need to find or create a miracl to enable some to only break even.  I still maintain that these big consolidations are geared to scr3w the little guy. Seen the same sort of play with North American Palladium years ago.  Some of the penny stock plays are pretty scummy!!

It's hard to understand what they have in mind here.

They plan for a buyout eventually.  What we investors can do right now is to consider the value proposition:  The PFs came in at $80mm USD.  Let's be conservative and say we only get 25% of that amount in an acquisition.  What is $20mm divided by 5 million shares?  $4 is what we are worth conservatively.  Those buying under $1 USD have effectively locked in a  ...more

Just making room for it to run down further. It was about as low as it could go at 1 to 2 cents but now ............ a lot more room!

Just goes to show you how literally s-t-u-p-i-d some "investors" are.  We got to the point where nobody was selling below a penny USD pre-consolidation.  Now, some einsteins believe that they are "getting more" by selling just because the share price reverted to a dollar or thereabouts after the consolidation. Sorry, but the folks who are so naive that they don't ...more

Yes, you are right, some people were stupid enough to buy into this shyte show to start with. Some are just plain dumping to cut their losses. It will run back down to around a dime by year end.  I'll ride it to the bottom...............
