By the sounds of it, original shareholders won't be getting anything unless some other company comes in with a bid high enough to cover all the debt plus pay out shareholders. Most likely SNDL will win with its stalking horse bid and steal the company for cents on the dollar. It's really sad shareholders were made to believe everything was fine and they were looking for ways to " ...more

Not very confident either but lets see. Its very unpredictable. If Indiva comes out of this, what would be their incentives to attract new shareholders if previous ones got left out the first time? I'm thinking they will try to merge shareholders into the "new company" somehow but I don't know.

My read on the CCAA process is that there is an OPTION to address shareholders, but I don't think it's typical given that shareholders are last in priority.  I would dearly love to be proven wrong in this case, given the size of my position.  But I don't see what incentive there would be to Sundial (or another bidder) - why give any portion of the reorganized company away if ...more

What on earth are you blathering about now?  You, the 40-50 cent buyout rumour starter that turned into bankruptcy, heard something else?  You're still talking reverse split ratios?  That time has passed bro.  Unless you're talking 1 for 1000.  You really have no shame eh? I never really understood the 'record Q2' angle anyways.  Every other quarter ...more

The strangest thing about this thread is the title.  Q2 numbers?  The stock doesn't trade and has been delisted from TSX-V.  What makes you think they'll be filing financials again at all?  The requirement is gone and recourse if they don't. I think anyone waiting for Q2 numbers in August will be left waiting, and waiting, and waiting. The next time you see anything ...more

Shareholders will get nothing unless someone buys the company.  Under CCAA the company presents a business plan to its various creditor groups to vote on whether they accept how much they will be paid to get out of this mud.  The creditors now control the outcome with SNDL now having the most influence and control.   Unless somoene else really wants to own this, SNDL will get ...more
