Quick calculation on $6.00 copper using a 6 X profit multiple Underground at nameplate:  65m pounds /yr x $4.14 profit = $269 million X 6 multiple = $1.6 billion / 2billion shares = $.0.80 USD per share    Open pit: 250m pounds /yr x $4.00 profit = $1.0 billion X 6 multiple = $6 billion / 2 billion shares = $3.00 USD per share   Added together = $03.80 usd ...more

Of course if copper were to get to 6.00 in short order then the question is what would buyer and seller (Pala) agree on. In such a situation I could see a buy-out at around $2.00 CAD

What is the point of this calculations  First underground mine has to deliver, 5000 TPD, good grade and low AISC, and no further dilution Till then nothing else matters Cheers and nice weekend

No... AT today's copper outlook and prices Pala could have Mike send all the employees home, turn off the power and sell NCU for $0.60 per share or more. That is the point. Cheers, N.

So its better to shut mine down and sell property, its that what are you saying Cos I dont see price at 0.60, thats strange how come if value in ground is 3 B+ US Fact is company is bleeding money and could go underground, and if company go down the drain, so will your shares, and someone else will profit from property not you Read again what I have written in my previous post, after that is ...more

And the copper is not going away so if they fail someone will offer them big bucks in my opinion maybe 28 or maybe 82 all I know is Piecing everything together, it is obvious that the world copper supply, if it isn yet, will soon be in deep trouble without a push among the large copper miners to find and produce more of the red metal to replace rapidly depleting reserves.
