Which warrants

Are you buying . No volume it seems lately. If they are executed is that about 100 million for NCU cheers NS

I have been buying some A's due to the longer expiry.  Yes, the company brings in $100 million of (essentially) pledged capital and the share count goes up to about 2.2 or 2.3 billion but the market cap in reference to today's market cap goes from $330 million to $430 million equivalent so that is a 30 % eqivalent bump in market cap. The relative value to the holder of A warrants ...more

But if good news happens before next January won't the other warrants be a better buy. Thanks for all your figures but I think a tonne is 2200 ex last high was 93362200 =4.24 so 13000 would be $5.91 FYI cheers and stay safe NS

The extra six months of time for the A warrants is worth the slight extra cost to buy and execute, IMHO. But that is my personal view. An extra 6 months also allows more time for warrant price appreciation as the share price goes up. After the first set of warrants are in the money if/when the share price hits .20, I expect we will find the warrant price goes up steadily with the share price. If ...more

I agree westcoast. I think both sets of warrants are trading close to their risk adjusted price. The premium on the A's is, as you put it, a reflection of the time value. Nothing wrong with the first series... they trade lower and therefore (IMO) offer a somewhat higher risk / reward profile than the A's currently do but are also good. (I only own A's though. Cheers, N.

If you own only the longer dated warrant my guess all your numbers that you are throwing out don't really mean too much in the near future you might as well come back and look at things next January. All your talk is about new news coming soon but you really don't think SP will move this year's or do you. iMO I would rather pay .04 + .20cents Then .055 + 22 cents is that a 12% loss ...more

You tallkkk'nnn -a- mee?  If so then yes, I do think the share price will go up. If you go back to my old posts you will see my EOY target of $0.45 to $0.60 (copper has gone up a lot since then so ... who knows.) Soooo yes, the cheaper shorter warrants might be better. I nowhere have said I will be right about a share price target. I am not an advisor. I post DYODD and even advisors do ...more

Yes, you are right newstock44. Well spotted. I usually use the copper price as a price per pound so $6.50 would be $14,300  per tonne LME, which indeed does use metric tonne. As for the other calculations I have been putting forth such as tons per day of mining, hoisting or milling and the pounds of copper that produces, those numbers, I believe are all in imperial measurement  thus 2 ...more

You need to deliniate  a Canadian Holder and an American Holder... American CANNOT exercise a canadian warrant - and this includes the american adr's.. if U R a US Citizen, registered on a board -that- allows for USD Dollar Conversion to Canadian Currecy. and hold NCU Wts jan/june 22.. You are phrobited by canadian law from exercising..  You may sell the warrants when they come ...more

I think what patchh is saying is that Pala and their owners have a tonne of warrants. They will either sell them (I cannot understand why they would do that), in which case the new owner can exercize them for shares, or Pala will convert them to shares and keep the new shares. In all cases, and this is important, it is in the interest of Pala and of NCU to have the warrants exercized, the ...more
