"The closure of the Magma copper mine in 1996 devastated Superior's economy. Officials have pinned their hopes now on Resolution. Since the copper deposit was first discoved in 1995, Rio and minority partner BHP Group  Plc (BHPB.L) have spent more than $2 billion to dig an exploratory mine shaft and dismantle an old Magma smelter. They have yet to produce any copper. BHP declined to comment.

More than half of the buildings in Superior's downtown sit empty.   Mayor Mila Besich, a Democratsaid. "We're going to need more American copper," she said."

Say I got an idea.  There's this new American copper mine in Nevada that could be expanded, and it ain't got no 
(native American) burial grounds either.

ain't got no (native American) burial grounds.. most certainly does hav sky burial sites in that distric... the diff here in this area..  the mines make deals w the tribes B4 they go into permitting.. bak east - the tribes tell the mines they want it all @ the mines disconnected phone numbers

About sven years ago spoke with the BLM archeologist who conducyed the survey.  Said no evidence of pre-contact use of the PH site.  Told other sites in valley (district) but none at PH. b.

yes = aware of that ! really doesent matter - the tribe there has already made a deal and hav done their Due Dil.. the consolidated tribes of nevada/reno are very well organized...   shopai had to drag Rio  thru helll N bak, to get them to mitigate that owyhee river where they had staked tailings in the middle.. the attoeney who lead that charge was from Mina Nevada  who' ...more
