Copper in the ground...where?

As the price stays high and goes higher, copper investors are going to re-discover the value of location.  Tier 1 assets in the Congo are...in the Congo.  

Chile?                  Yikes.  The current bill won't pass, but the direction is clear.
Peru?                   Socialist takeover = higher copper taxes.
Mongolia?            Already threatening confiscation
Congo?                Seriously?

Nope, Canada and Australia, with my favorite CMMC, and the USA with NCU for me.

What is the value of copper in the ground?  

What ground is it in.

You are right, consideration of geopolitical environment is critical, however today we also need to reflect upon operation and transport vulnerability to adverse weather events.
