patchh, With respect, I would say no one really knows. We can say for sure demand will take a big jump in coming years as the copper intensity of renewables bites into copper supplies. Where is the additional supply going to come from? Recycling has its limits and will be maximzed at current prices. New mines take a long time and lots of capital and only last year no one wanted to invest in ...more

I would agree with you almost completely however....there is no insignificant risk of a market crash, a FED policy mistate (already been done with endless QE), some financial calamity or global recession given the vast amounts of debt out there that undercuts the "green" economy thesis. Already the GOP cult members are throwing up roadblocks to Bidens "green" infrastructure ...more

metalhead666. This is a well written statement of the dangers and risks involved. As you know I have, and will continue to accept these risks you dilineate.  My personal take is that should a bubble, or many bubbles burst simultaneously, I will get hit no matter where I put my capital. Anything I choose is a guess... Do i land it in real estate? Maybe no. Gold, silver, US dollars, Chinese ...more

I hear ya and wouldn't laugh at you...I understand your reasoning and wish I had the same nerve.  Your point about everything bubbles is true. My only solution is to be in copper and lithium, hope for the best and hedge against ...more

The one hedge I called about a month ago but never actually acted on is to short Cathy Woods ARK fuund. Reasoning was that so many 'stay at home' newbie investors have ben convincing themselves that they are geniouses for jumping on trendy tech stocks like ZOOM etc, etc. IMO these companies, if they ever get to have significant earnings, will never grow into the kind of valuations they are ...more

I am also All in with 60 % of NCU in my portfolio. I tried to find other companies with similar potential, but no luck. So I invested about 35k into NCU at at an average cost of .2650 cents. I recently also added Graphene manufacturing company ltd. To my portfolio(GMG). That increased over 50% in 2 days. So it's worth looking into that. But I still trust NCU more than anything else at the ...more

i don't think copper is going much below 4 due to the asymetrical supply lines - from source to end user..  1 hav it @^ 365 to 400 on the 200 mda.. once copper hits in the 6'ss..  end users will redesign their products... NCU is going to B a very-very large mine...  i did not grpsh the scale of this unil i looked @ the newmont phoneix mine @ battle mountain; originally a ...more
