When the USD falls (price inflation), commodiites will price above long-term trends.  So that's a given.  What's diff this time?  How about over-population, climate change, and geopolicial threats?    No way we can quanitfy those impacts, but bets are they will be ...more

Inflation and commodities is another apples and oranges, but that’s not the retail investors fault.  It seems simple enough to just express the cost of a commodity in USD, but when you do that, you open up a whole new can of worms. It no longer is simply a matter of supply and demand, but rather of interest rates; and what pray tell generates the setting of CB rates.  Ah, and so we ...more
