Just optics in my opinion. Although 1,000,000 shares sounds huge, the float is $1.5B and from a monetary point of view it equates to $185,000 sale which is peanuts. It could be shorts trying to cause panic so they can can scoop up more shares then sold. Someone could be board with the shares as it has been going wrong direction and feel the money could be deployed in better opportunities.

the board was locked up close to 30 minutes..  i could not buy or sell.. icon went shade..  then a notice poped up that i could buy 200,000 shorts for 10.65% on a three bar from 10.oo -2- 10.65.  my usual margin rate is 2.5% i had a by @ least three times - even on the 205 ask - would not gooo..  finally canceled the205 and went to the snoozer...  this NCI trading comes

patchh, I try to follow at least the gist of what you post , no matter what it is, but today is too much to even guess at. First of all, are you short or not? Second, you are telling me you have an interface that sends you notices on shorts you could pursue and quotes the cost to you? That seems a bit extreme but maybe so. Thank you for your well structured questioning of patchh's thesis here. I agree I am a little bumfuzzeled myself. I think the 'shorting' part he is referring to is the situation in which you can, if you are not on margin yourself, lend out your own shares to others to be used for shorting. You are paid an interest rate for this which fluctuates according to various perameters
