The Company is in discussions with KfW regarding a longer-term extension of the Project Longstop Date into 2023; deferral of debt servicing by up to twenty-four months; and the deferral of certain financial covenants under the Amended KfW Facility to further support the ramp-up of the Underground Mine. The Company expects to have the proposed extension and amendments finalized in the next month ...more

Yes, It is just part of the process IMO. KFW bank is, from what I understand, a very conservative institution and it is itself backed by the German government so things take time and a lot of due dilligence and paperwork to get done... The long-term extension will (in my opinion again) happen without a problem (unless copper were to drop below $2.50 which I think will never happen again...ever ...more

yes, KfW objective is to support and develop german economy. that said, a 75 kto p.a. mine is not what they are looking for. they are also very good in financing start ups, means they will finance step by step.  As NCU proves their capability, they for sure will participate in further financing UG AND building the OP for moderate intrest rates. Buy the fear fish, buy the fear. There is zero alignment of incentive for kfc to fry this chicken. NCU will soar like an eagle by next year instead of limp around like a phlucked chicken. Stick a feather in your hat N buy... pedal to the mat.  N
