What is wrong/right with NCU?

Hi, I bought NCU shares, because its market cap. got kind of greedy and already in quite a loss.
The company is ramping up production and has another very attractive project.
It is in debt to its neck, I got it, but it is normal for pre-production and beginers.
It has few setbacks and delays, but I think 80% go throught the same.
Some problems can be fatal, I had minor stake in one company that struggle with floodings and eventually closed its mine.
NCU problems looks regular to me.

Question - am I missing something? Did I catch a fallen knife and should run away screeming?
Or this is a classical Buffet's "time to be greedy, when others are fearful" moment?

I appreciate your opinion, both sides of view.

I guess it is wrong forum to ask questions; not just based on your answer. I just left one, Lithium related forums on stockhouse (company was sold), where most participant communicated to each other "with calculator on hands" and not much political bs. We were coordinating contacts to company, designating one of us speaking "on behalf of retail shareholders" from the forum ...more

I am not seeing the risk neo. We r through the dyke twice now. Copper is going to stay high.  We r ramping up fast. Mill running at nameplate. Fans being installed. Hoisting at nameplate plus.  Ncu will mostly be high grade longstope ore. No more financing needed untill open pit in a couple years. Backed by german finance juggernut. I am buying the dips for sure. nf

Copper is going to be needed in all the infrastructure projects being proposed as well as for the fleets of electric vehicles coming online.  I believe it was Hertz that just ordered 100,000 Telsas for their rental units. The downside for plays such as this is that they are long, months and years vs. days and weeks.  IMHO most traders are looking for something flashy that promises money ...more

"Mines offer massive upside but the time needs to be commited to in order to realize those gains ..." Often that is true.  That's why ones needs patience with minors. (sorry) "IMHO most traders are looking for something flashy that promises money today or tomorrow. " I don't speak for most traders, but this one only trades stock that he is willing to hold.  ...more

nofluff --- add the paste plant to that list. It's being fully commissioned now. I asked IR days ago about it & said it's status quo as Randy said in his webinar. Then bigger stopping & much faster turn-over / prod increase. :) That completes your list from the rooter to the tooter & tpd steady rate.  :) Gltua!!

Neoskeptic, I thought about responding to your post when you wrote it, but it was a rather broad two questions. As I recall, it was requesting opinions on the pros and cons. There are consistently misleading negative posters here, which makes any informed conversaiton difficult There is a lot to say. I suggest you look for posts by Notgnu and Nofluff as two people who provide what I think is ...more

"Like nofluff, I do not see any big risk" Anyone who claims not to see the high risk of a one mine, marginal junior miner start-up is either a liar or a fool.  The reason we invest (gamble some would say) on such a high-risk venture is the potential for extraordinary gain, but those gains are long in coming, most likely after two quarters of steady production; unless or until ...more

neosceptic --- ok, you're talking multiple things. On an investor forum, etc., me personally i'll say: ever heard of Janet Shell group? Susan Trimbath. Robert Mahue. Naked shorting & market rules 2005. T-3 settlement, etc.. Wells Fargo employee with a stolen SEC certificate madalion. ( imagine how many illegal stock certs you could certify & later sell through unkowing brck n ...more
