The US consolidated tax return shouldn't have any tax to pay for a  number of years due to losses and capitalized costs .

Now if the company were  sold there MIGHT BE. Capital gains tax to pay  MIGHT BE 

I would suggest that taxes is not an issue that we should be worried about!
