This was a private company. In addition PALA has certainly SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED their average cost  of the shares they own in NCU.

Further if NCU was properly managed the stock would not have dropped so far = and thus the question was the drop in share price a planned strategy? I would HOPE NOT! 

And just because PALA  has loaned $ to NCU does not give them the right to treat the retail investors as suckers!

If Vlad cares we would hope that he would fix this mess by putting  competent independent Directors in control of the Board!

The way I see it is they basically bought their own debt. Some of the money raised will be used to retire debt and accrued interest. Will be interesting to see how this trades in the next few weeks.
