Response to Nofluff. Ncu VS Excellsior.

The statements are bold Mr. Nofluff because they are real, true & fact. Or i would not attempt to do so otherwise. And Yes, i'm familiar with the name of Excellsior. Not sure when their mine was commissioned BUT i do agree somewhat with you on their operational status. While they do seem to be producing some product, that's about all they have in common with Ncu right now. As you are most likely aware by now, Ncu sells copper concentrate while Excellsior sells copper cathode.
In addtion, while their mineral resource seems indentical at first glance on the surface, upon further inspection, the ore grade grade at Excellsior's mine is much much lower grade than Ncu's open pit mine. Which means miuch higer processing costs when compared to Ncu. Also, Excellsior's copper resouce is only defined as a "Probable" resource whereas Ncu have a PROVEN reserves as far as i'm aware. But i think the most important factors here when comparing the two is acessible infrastructure & ESG concerns.
Ncu has bascially ALL the infrasructure & processing facilities it needs for the underground mine & their open pit is only about a year away from being operational with no aparant obstacles in th way aside from financing. Whereas Excellsior will need at least two full years at the bare minimum to be FULLY operational. Also, Excellsior has a bunch of operational/production issues it needs to sort out BEFORE it can actually move ahead with plans for full ramp up. Ncu doesn't have ANY of these issues and most of their major problems are far behind them & have been pretty much resloved. I won't even tackle the ESG/environmental concerns here with Excellsior.
After taking into consideration all of the above, the advantage lies with NCU. As i don't doubt that Excellsior could eventually resolve their problems and be a viable investment vehicle for investors in the longer term, my money for now is on Nevada Copper hands down!

"What if copper retreats to $3.30 US or lower? " Yeah! What if, indeed! I love "What if" questions, and my favorite is: What if - Cows could fly? Of course the answer is: Everyone would be looking up! (little bit of Nevada humor) b.

Those r the reasons that I do not own min and do own ncu. Ncu has the dyke crossings and fan issues almost behind them. Min is at about that stage. None the less. The point I was making is that ncu is not the only new copper mine in the u.s. Happy guessing. nf
