When they decided to proceed with the UG mine, they were using Cu prices at 2.75 or so for all the analysis. They sought to develop underground because it had better grades. The open pit would have been faster, less comples, and lower average cost, but the grades were seen as too low to justify that strategy at the copper prices of the day. All in my opinion.

Hindsite is great is it not wc. I am loving where we r at. The fan news and sc news r the big thing now. If fans r all on site and sc has been engineered and mining started, we should pop to a buck and keep climbing. If that is not anounced soon then we flat line according to copper price. Happy guessing. nf
