NCU Mining Operations - Overview Presentation

The company actually provides a pretty decent overview of their operation right on their website.  Maybe some folks missed that...

I guess you just don't understand.  I reviewed their latest presentation (usually the least valuable source of information) and there is no mention of cost of production after restart.  Perhaps they don’t know what their costs are going to be, and if that is the case, I don’t’ see how anyone can estimate cash flow. You don’t have to know the financial stability of a company to ...more

Last I saw, NCU is not 'owner mining'.  If they are still using UG contractors, the quoted operating costs are certainly low.

i think there R 2 units in there w CtX's//  one is affiliated w Wood..  the other is geotemps or a Barrik Temple Ready Ctxtor..  IMHO they hav permits and are a know diety unlike redpath who cut their teeth on NCI..  its doubtfull they came in w a bid that is cheap.. the other element - NCI is listing for peosonell..  the next element..  there is a very-very ...more

Like I said - those cost estimates are stale.  What will be cost be going forward?   Why this is an issue with NCI is the long series of missteps that has delayed production and created the doubt in accepting pre-Covid data. It shouldn’t take this long to put a mine in operation.  Hudbay built and reached first pour in two years at Constancia, 400 miles from the coast and 15 ...more

Different jurisdiction and different mine means different risks.  You're not going to find an answer that easily unfortunately.  Best thing to do is take PFS data and do your own sensitivity analysis.  Theres still uncertainty on the table and we know the track record isn't stellar  which is why NCU is undervalued.
Comment by cnynman on Aug 22, 2023 11:32am
Yes, much uncertainty and certainly a poor track record.  Financial anyalysts are now skeptical of this company, largely due to past sins and the current ownership. It will require a demonstrated, prolonged period of uniterrupted production and positive cash flow before serious buyers start investing again.  And since the prolonged shut down and now months of stock piling, a month or ...more

"Different jurisdiction and different mine means different risks."   You're damned right!  But the point some seem to wish away is that - 1)  Nevada Copper's record of mis-steps and delays stand in marked contrast with a large majority of start-ups.   2) Hudbay’s example of a two year pour dealing with the logistical challenges of building a mine in the ...more

I can assure you that this forum is no different than any other forum in terms of people "caring".  Yes, some people do care but don't count on that being the majority.  Most would be happy enough to either talk you out of your cash or out of your shares, whichever they want more.  The onus to research and speculate on future developments is on you and the profit or ...more

Usually when one resorts to ridicule and sarcasm, it means they've run flat out of reason.   I could repeat myself a dozen time and you still won't understand.  My only and very important concern to the posting of irresponsible hype and promotion, which IMO has been one of the factors that has plagued Nevada Copper shares for several years.  A stock chart is like a portrait ...more

Total mine plan revamp since 2019 pfs.  Looks like market is waiting for update. Management is full speed ahead on all fronts. I like the surface grades on copper hill and dimples. This high grade ore could go direct to ug mill very soon. Two drills turning. The picture will get much clearer and bigger each month. nf

The company is likely lacking numbers pretaining to production cost as the mine is yet to be fully operational... mind blowing hey...    You wouldn't make any projections on the cost to heat your new house if you haven't fully built it yet would you ?   If the company made projections and they turned out to be either high or low then they get blasted for being ...more

You are exactly correct. Yet, the primary purpose of PFS, PEA, FS, etc. is to both guide the company and provide insight to potential investors. The fact that the most current of these 'projections' are now several years old, with effectively new ownership and many changes of direction highlights the great level of 'uncertainty' this operation represents.  NCU is not being ...more

You are correct in terms of the Company not peforming reports etc that are not necessary.  It's not a good use of their resources (including cash).  Any detailed documentation used to guide the company is likely not going to be fully made public but rather disclosed in bullet points through the updates like what was provided for Pumpkin. No matter what you invest in (this even includes home upgrades etc) you have to set a budget and do your best to stick to it.  If you are "heavy / overbuget" then be sure to know how much you need to rebalance by (dollar-wise) and determine the price you are willing to do it at.  Ideally you do it at a price higher than your overall average however you can also do it a price ...more

"... pass judgement on the forward potential of any stock ..."   So, who is doing that?   Strawman arguments cheapens your opinion.   " if you are not actually reading up on the information provided by the company itself where else do you think you will get the "best information".."   Another strawman!  You must have an army of them.  ...more
