Pala and Solway disappeared briefly on the registry Sept. 24

Not sure what happened on September 24, 2023 when I was scrolling through simplywall.st, but 4 financiers were briefly removed from the registry, including Pala (the largest shareholder and Solway). See screenshot below.

Not sure what this means but out of all the times I’ve been scrolling on that page through the last year, that’s the first time I see this happening.

Some here may ask, simplywall.st is not reliable, I respond “Simplywall.st is updated from S&P Global Market Intelligence platform and it collects its data from all publicly available sources including regulatory agencies, company websites, exchange websites and news agencies.

I use my screenshot feature all the time so I don’t miss anything, and can share with this board, including the insiders who are on here viewing :P

This further implies that something is going on I’m sure. The waiting is interesting and worth it.

Last note, SEDI released a small DSU grant to Michael Brown for about 29,000 shares (They were the only recipient of DSUs 2 days ago). Looks like a small correction before big news comes out soon (it’s a gut feeling).

Happy thanksgiving weekend to the Canadian folks!

Check out where the mine manager,Chuck Pollard and other recent hires came from.

Yep, the timing of these guys (Jake Largent and Chuck) coming in is interesting too for sure. Here we are buying up some shares in a public company, and all these new hires coming in at a time of "uncertainty" from working at a multi billion $ mining giant and possibly relocating to work at Nevada Copper... Who is taking a bigger bet/chance here? Retail or Employees?   When I ...more

Yup. He worked his way up from the bottom quickly. About 36 years hands on experience in all phases of ug mining. About as good as they come. Only two weeks until they start adding hi grade stope ore to the mix and move to 5000 tpd. The high grade copper hill and dimples will take little for developement to add to mill feed. If there ever becomes an ug stopage for any reason, those new surface ...more

I am pleased to see the progress they are making.  I think the timing is fairly good considering the stage at which the mine is at vs where I think the demand for copper will begin ramping up.  Nothing comes without risk and it all takes time but I think they're relatively well positioned in those regards. When it comes to the actual mine start-up / big opening day etc (that sort of ...more

I think it was Stb888 and Tomstockhut I had no idea about the updated corporate presentation until their post. It would have been cool if the press release this week mentioned that, but thankfully we have a good group of people on here to share important ressources :)

"I would like to see them make a big event out of it with lots of media coverage and fanfare. " Your imagination is as vast as your ignorance.  Who in the Hell is going to drive 100 miles into the desert just to be used as an infomercial for a Canadian mining company’s second attempt to make a go of it?  Maybe if they knew you were a shareholder … I’m sure ABC and CBS would be ...more

I agree with Quin that this news / milestone should have a lot more publicity than it's receiving for many reason. One of them being that the more people that know about this stock and decide to buy, the price will go up and I can eventually buy myself a tent and go camping under the moonlight. I think the owners of the mine prefer to keep this low key and under the radar for reasons I can ...more

"I understand Bogfit you have a different point of you and it's respected. Just not to sure about the "your imagination is as vast as your ignorance", that wasn't cool."   I don't know if it was cool", it was accurate and honest.  You have no idea the rude insults and dripping contempt that old Quin has shared with me in the past.  I really ...more

Understood and well received. I do know a few things... and one of them is that I'm afraid of wolves, especially Akela from the jungle book. I might need to get a safer tent to protect myself when I go camping, all the more reason to hold on longer to my Nevada Copper shares. Looking forward to camping under the moonlight. Hakuna Matata!

I was serious in my post.  Grow up! b.

"Grow up!" That's what Mowgli in the Jungle Book had to do at a very young age and now his six-pack is pretty darn impressive... When I sell my Nevada Copper shares for a profit, I will buy some work-out machines, maybe a bowflex.
