Gosh, that's 2 and a half cows for every person in the valley and that means I'm half a cow short, but also each cow gets 1.1 acres of forage!   b.

just realized that my data was outdated and the most recent for 2017 shows an increase in cattle to 53,063, a 25% increase.  Forage acres approx the same. Sorry. b.
