this bored is uneducated... a bid deposit is simply a bid bond thats cost about 5 bucks per thousand.. so a 200 mill bid would buy a 20 mill bid bond for $100 k... the bo d only gets falled if the sucessful bidder renages on his bid ... geesh.

news flash.... 200 mill bid shud takw this down
unlikely there will be a stalkinghorse bid.... knot shure if anyone knows what a stalking horse bid is....

U donm't read anything.. giv it up.... they cannot post the 3% until the lowest bid is tabled.. and its not a bond. U R not bidding in a bid boond arrangment.. U post a bond in order to make the bid.. and the bond remains in place thru the duration of the contract - 12m months.. that 3% is not returnable and goes to the "ESTATE"".. if they ...more

withdrawing $45M for 3% ... am I wrong to think the minimum bid is $1.5 billion ? ($45M / 0.03)?

MK - yes they did.. what the SH has argued after hours w the reno USTrustee.. is to hav the SH fees set at 3% of what they BID.. the also wanted fees from this in a sale.. the also wanted to place a bid at the seme time of the other bidders.. the TORT - remains the same and it was redifined ad five days after the auctions bids hav been recived and the full 3% fo the lowest ...more

64K $ question ! nci removed the 45 due to UST countermotions.. NCI did not object.. with 30 bidders it may go a little higher.. NCI is holding firm on the 3% 5 day rule.. if U read the latest epic.. the closest U will come is an insurance RHE or RHEA... Pala has a rhea on the money.. is hav suspected he was using bonds..
