Small Vs Big
I am starting to think of a very possible scenario where smaller companies may combine bids to compete against the majors… It’s not collusion, it’s tactical and very much allowed to submit joint bids. Look at BHP and Lundin going 50-50 together. When we see the registrar of other public mining companies, you will see that there are many shareholders in a single entity.
It’s easy to jump to conclusions with very little info currently, i.e: Kinterra Capital winning the stalking horse bid (A.K.A Minimum bid). It gives the public the illusion that the assets aren't worth that much as it coincides with the BS marketcap we've seen all this time on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
Anyone want butter on their popcorn? Can’t wait for a Netflix documentary to be made about this.
