Sale price of $550 million for NCU

Days of dreaming might be over for shareholders, but I find it hard to believe that a fully permitted copper mine with a boatload of the resource is just going to sell for $550 million. That's highway robbery vs the value of all the copper in the ground. 

     NCU reps. " oh we filed chapter 11 bankruptcy. Oh here you go Mr. Joe shmo. Just give us $550 million and the 19th largest permitted copper mine in the USA is all yours. I call bull sheet.

Yes, that's exactly how these situations historically end. Common shareholders get wiped.

Hey Gigametals, actually Pumpkin Hollow is one of the largest deposits in North America. That link was for producing mines but since Nevada Copper only focused on the UG for now, it appeared as a very tiny operation and listed as 19th... Pala investments's lawyer is on the list of consultation parties. Not even Mercuria is on the list. Pala has about 62% of the common shares. They have a say ...more

Always got to keep the faith.  Even if shareholders if lucky get "Pennie's" per share I'll take it all day long as I was loading up under 1 penny as everyone was panic selling before the stock halted. I'm fine with that...even just walking out of this even with my money back? That is a win.  if major players in the mining industry are in the mix then they will ...more

GM.. one of the posters has it as a restructuring..  stocks are not affected..  its a cash infusion to contune buizz. U don't resume buizz and wipe the storks - illogical - U simply do not hav a registered company. the storks hav been heavily diluted.  a new owner will no dwaddle on a few pennies whe  a buy will drive the price up... this deal could hav been handled by ...more

ABX or GOLD would B the logical..  they do hav a couple of new cop+ mines one is S Africa and another In -aroiund new gunie; the later had an earthquaqe a few weeks ago - large disaser..  the mine in SA has or is having some issues / ownership expansions and 'theee general trends to ejectt western mine interest/principals... --> as BRICS developes Lending Instruments similar to ...more
