Future bids

Of course there can be a future bid. The announcement clearly stated that the deal with sh will be done mid Oct. However, that is not a deadline. It stated that it may take longer or not even happen at all.

The bidders at auction probably did not like the rush to decide. They now all have the data to crunch over the next while. Sh does not want the mine. They want the break fees from sale. If the sh sale happened, dip loan and court fees would leave the Germans development bank well short of investment. Everyone else with 0.

If it is just the Russian connection issue, then Pala has to somehow get out completely.

So Pala could sell all there shares to a bhp type for about .28 cad. That gets Pala out. They still have a couple hundred million in loans that r all due.  So bhp does a billion share pp for 300 million and pays Pala out. Pala gets 500 million to go home.  Bhp can then loan ncu a couple hundred million to restart mine and finish op study. Mean time ncu re applies for listing on tsx ...more

If "value was there"  they wouldn't be bankrupt.  duh

Or. Bhp could up the current bid to 500 million cad. That would clean up all arrears and give shareholders 0.30 cad. That could incite a bit of a bidding war. Nf

Sclar,,  you know better. I have known him for a decade or two. This is the only one that went to 0. Tko, as you know, had done very well, 35 cents to over three dollars. You were a consistent TKO basher. Copper Mountain has done very well also. Why are you here? What is your motivation to be here. KW

Well KW, to be totally fair, the Snuffleofagus was all over these same boards pumping both BWCG and AME. BWCG was over $1 when he started pumping, recently was taken out on a stock swap at 9 cents for a total loss of over 90%. While true it didn't get totally wiped out, a 90% loss isn't much better. AME was over 7 cents when he started pumping, today's price is two pennies. The only ...more

Fluff says: You just do not spend 100 million cad. Marketing the property, if value is not there. But yep, they did exactly that. And then they went bankrupt because the 'value was not there'.  Then the highest bid was a paltry $128M because 'the value was not there'.
