Pumpkin Hollow Suspension (both projects) - why?

@ Cyn, why would both projects at Pumpkin Hollow still be suspended? The mining data has Kinterra updated as the new owner, yet the projects still suspended... Curious to know why that might be incase you can share some possibilities as to why... Thanks in advance

Italiano,  I think the 'suspension' is referencing the halt of production and all mining activities which occured during the BR proceedings. It is my understanding that the work force has been terminated (with some skeleton care and maintenance personnel likely still on site). But there is no active mining, milling or production. Those workers, and those activities just don't ...more

I just hope no one who feels ripped off by NCU does something  like that shooter did in New York to that CEO of the Medical Company.  So senseless and sad

If the creditors were paid, nobody should feel unduly disadvantaged by Nevada Copper’s regrettable demise.  Shareholders all knew it was a high risk, speculative “investment” at best, and certainly saw many times when the project stubbled beset with unexpected difficulties that gave all the chance to bail out. What is fascinating is the “huh?” factor.  It just doesn’t add up, and why ...more

Likewise, nobody should begrudge anybody some shadenfraude, if the new purchasers find their purchase tied up in court for years, as an ongoing money-pit, with an injunction to keep the mine free and clear of water, no matter the cost, then that is okay too. Or likewise if their open pit dreams get blocked as well. Or they get a chance to cry in public.
