Coffee Company or Compostable Materials Company??

I love what they are doing at NEXE but I feel that they are not branding themselves correctly. Does anyone agree/disagree? Their coffee really isn't that great at all but the pods are amazing. Their mission statement makes it clear that their focus is on their biodegradable pods - coffee isn't even mentioned. If that is so, why is coffee in the picture at all?

Would love to hear your thoughts!

They are just using this coffee to help them perfect their pods. They don't plan to be a coffee producer, they just need something to put in the pods while they improve the pods to get them to fit different coffee makers and decrease the time composting takes. It's better to do these experimentations with their own coffee brand at this point as opposed to another company's brand. This ...more
