It just makes too much sense.  This way they can have a vertically integrated supply chain for the north american market.  With this asset, they can really drive down battery costs and improve their margins.  They will have a huge advantage over other OEMs on cost and quality.  The question is how much will they bid.   $300M ($0.35/share), $400M ($0.47/share), 500M ($0.58/share)....depends on the competition.  They can then complete this with their own cash flows or cash on hand.

My guess is Tesla doesn'r even know NMX exists. It doesn't matter who wants to buy it, not one investor will come out to save the retail, why should they? NMX has nothing to offer and no bargaining power at all ZERO Anyone interested will probably buy it in BANKRUPTCY for way less than it's worth...

Panasonic is Tesla's current battery-cell supplier, making cells at the company's Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada, that Tesla assembles into company-designed battery packs. gigafactory nevada charlene wouldnt it be nice to build a gigafactory here in quebec. do we have the expertise $$? we could build the batteries  for tesla and sell those  instead of selling them nmx. maybe a ...more

NMX has enough money to start the Tamaguchi mine and then it can ship the spodumen straight to the Tesla battery Gigafactory in Nevada, go for it GB, yeah
