Tcheck Besides working as capital markets advisor for Nemaska, he is also the Chairman of Vision Lithium (was Sirmac when part of Nemaska). He was the original vendor (owner) of the Whabouchi property before selling to Nemaska in 2009. I think that Nemaska is still the largest shareholder of Vision Lithium with approx 15% holding? With regards to why it is important that he has got an extension ...more

thanks mick so VC wants to file a claim against nmx but the bar date expired is that the right way to see it ?
Comment by mick1888 on Mar 24, 2020 3:09pm
Not quite Tcheck. The actual Bar date isn't until 31 March, so it looks like he wanted to extend that  beyon this date for whatever reason he has. I only assume he wants to delay putting a claim in until he knows the full extent of interest, and if that interest includes his preferred option?

VC has successfully requested an extension to the Claim Bar Date till April 17, 2020 5 PM. Creditors have 2 additional weeks to submit their claims to PwC.

My claim is already submitted, do it NOW.....seriously don't wait.  I am not sure if the extension is open ended or just applies to VC, I would not risk it. GLTA longs

Judge Gouin decision applies to all creditors, n'est-ce pas.

mick, you are confused...what claim did you submit already? Did you sell any product or service to NMX? Being a shareholder you can't submit any claim... The LONGS just became LONG to INFINITY...meaning you will never get a penny out of it... Ohh well, I TOLD YOU SO...nothing I can do, you guys refused to save yourselves from yourself....
Comment by mick1888 on Mar 25, 2020 2:37am
CalAB you may be correct, I may get nothing, but no point in just sitting back and doing nothing, is there? For the sake of 56 at least there will be someone in court to at least tell me straight 'you're getting nothing'.... ;-) Insofar as the unsecured claim is concerned, it costs NOTHING to complete the form and you don't require to be part of any group or be legally represented. ...more

March 30, 2020 is the deadline for Signature of NDA's by Prospective Bidders and April 17, 2020 5 PM Submission of non-binding LOIs (SISP sealed bids). VC will only know of bids once PwC, BofD, review committee and secured creditors review same.
Comment by mick1888 on Mar 24, 2020 7:23pm
dalesio, do you know if a bidders list (based on NDA's) will be made public, or at least made available to shareholders and the court? When is the next update due from the Monitor? If memory serves me they have to report back to the court every two months (the last report being 18 Feb)? GLTA longs
Comment by dalesio_98 on Mar 24, 2020 9:20pm
Result of SISP bids will be part of PwC Monitor's motion to the court and exhibits/records sealed. It is very important for shareholders to attend court hearings to listen to lawyers representing clients. Some details of sealed documents are discussed.
