Sucessful catl failed in quebec .why?

From alcide s post
Contemporary Amperex Technology (CATL) had over 40 GWh lithium battery production capacity.
Digitimes forecasts that Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited (CATL) will have 137 GWh of battery production capacity in 2022.
Lithium-ion battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) is building a 14 GWh battery factory in Germany and it should be completed in 2022.

why did catl fail in quebec with nal ?
you would think with their rate of success elsewhere that this undertaking in quebec should have been a sure bet ,a win.
do you understand this ,alcide ?

How about regulations over ...more

Wealth transfer... Open company, public investors, Gov. investor (taxes)...close up and open another one = corruption. People with connections pocket the money and the closure leaves lots of investors in the minus....

tictactoe before the government took over  ,catl bought the mine and sunk money in this endeavour . they must have done their due diligence .or not ? you call it low grade .interesting . so catl got it wrong . i thought spodumene prices were too low to turn a profit and make it worthwhile . i think it could be worth it partner with them  to supply nemaska transformation plant . same ...more
