Next update ....

Here is a response I got when I asked about when they were going to provide an update:

It is not possible to answer precisely your question at this time. Since the target closing date for a transaction is mid-August 2020, as approved by the Superior Court of Qubec at the end of January 2020, it is reasonable to anticipate that we will be able to provide an update by this date. Please be assured that we will keep shareholders informed as soon as it is possible to provide more information.

Best regards,

Gabrielle Tellier

It is a good sign when their communication refers to 'shareholders' as opposed to 'stakeholders'.  Since this CCAA process began, they have not mentioned 'shareholders' explicitly.  I view this as a positive sign.  The negotiations must be to the point that we (shareholders) are included going forward.  The question is at what price?  Good luck all.

Charlene... you're reading far too much into the term "shareholders". You posed a question and no doubt signed as an individual, not as a corporate or legal representative! Consequently, they addressed you as a shareholder...  what else could you be? Clutching at straws... all you can do is sit back and wait, (unfortunately) there's nothing else you can do! It is prudent not to speculate on words. There is no real positive about the word ''shareholders''. Although, it is nice to finally hear about Nemaska. Not necessarily a good sign about the value of our shares, but at least it shows minimum respect. Gabrielle Tessier is the media relations spoke person. I doubt she knows what the bids are before it is public.
