I dont understand the terms .
what is private about a government acquiring a company .
it is public as hell.

Tcheck, the Gov is not aquiering anything, they are simplii helping with financing just like you wished for a long time...the jobs will stay in Quebec, the company will produce LI in Quebec, Quebec might become the so very important strategic LI producer just like you wished for...the taxes will be paid in Quebec...everything is as you wished, they are bailing out NMX and your wish has been ...more

In the UK we call it PPP (public private parnership). It was a popular method of funding hospitals and schools back in the 'naughties', but invariably it cost the tax payer a fortune. You will no doubt find this out to your cost in Quebec going into a partnership with the UK hyenas.

PS and your slippery, slimey politicians will still walk away with a smile on their face as if they done a good job regardless of what happens. And by the way, don't think you will get your own back at the next election, they don't give a damn about that as they achieved their ambitions. The days of being in politics for the benefit of society are gone.... ;-[
