Tragedy - almost 1 mkt of European capacity down

According to #Zinc, 850 kt of 2200 kt of European zinc refinery capacity is down. Glencore announced curtailments in Spain, Germany, Italy.

Sure hope NIF can help balance this problem...for a price.

Anyone care to guess if NIF and Glencore finally agreed to contract terms through April 2022 a few weeks ago? Someone's going to be making good money here. These cuts are sufficient it's hard to think spot smelting margin spreads aren't exploding.
