Most of the european energy shortage is because of the nuclear roll-out. China is coal. But i'm not in germany so hard to say if this happening or not. Generally speaking, ZeroHedge can provide misinformation, they are good for finding obscure information witch i have to give them credit but they are also known for misinformation in the only purpose to clickbait.   https ...more

Tend to agree that Zerohedge likes to overstate problems, though in energy markets, the elasticity of price and supply is high. According to Wikipedia, nuclear provided about 13 percent total of energy. About 37 percent is renewable, They will have to spend more for hydrocarbons though. I think the market is kind of hooped for a while in Europe and they could see electricity costs remain double. ...more

My 2 cents ? That energy crisis is gonna be there for at least 5 year, the time the renewables ramp up...
