The Boliden Conundrum

Thanks everybody for your interesting comments, but i think the conundrum remains unexplained.  Why does Boliden think that the future of the zinc smelter market is so good that a one Billion investment is worthwhile, but yet NIF is valued at almost nothing?  Sure Glencore is evil, but it doesn't seem to me to be credible that that would be the total explanation....

Your kid of preahing to the choir, lol I think most analysts have decided China owns the base metal market and they are willing to keep going losing money. During covid, they were willing to sacrifice any chance of profit just to keep operating at times I think its all changing again. Look at Nyrstar, very efficient plants but if yu have to pay a huge sum for your electrons, you can't ...more
