Spot TC’s in China
SMM report that spot TC's in China are now $180/t, up from $140/t last month and the average of about 80/t last year.. An increase of $100/t over last years level equates to a revenue and EBITDA increase of about $55 million on an annual basis. Combined with higher zinc, copper and sulphuric acid prices together with increased production in the second half of the year, this could be a perfect storm year for Noranda. Not hard to envision a minimum of a triple bagger over the balance of 2022.
