Buyout coming?

Biggest volume since 2019. Think the GC brain trust is realizing they may have to payout serious coin to shareholders under the current structure...coin that belongs in their pockets, darn it!.

European mills operating at half capacity, if at all. Chinese mills realizing they can't keep treating for free, especially if they are looking at carbon tax. Heck, I recall reading an article how Korea Zinc was in the cross hairs of environmentalists.

What was the last offer , 4 a share? A few hundred million more have been dumped into the plant.

I expect GC will offer under 5 or ~ 250 M$ total. Replacement on a plant this size is over 1 B$ but what can a person do?

I will be money ahead, but still feels like it will be an on the cheap offer.

My understanding was the "independent" board rejected the last offer and I don't think a bid of under 5 dollars would ...more
