Glencore and Noranda has beed manipulating share price for some. Many investor sold shares after very bad news of US$100 million repair expense. I wonder if there are any legal steps wecan take

when they announced about US$100 million repair cost, which is about twice market cap at the time of announcement some long time investors like me sold the shares. In my opinion they did this to manipulate share price so that Glencore can buy the share at very low price. Again I wonder if there is any legal actions past share holders can take.

Yes Glencore drove a hard bargain, and some of theri tactics were dubious; but nobody is giong to sue them....successfully that is.  My investmetn review of this holding will result in some lessons moving forwards; but I did manage a very good return here. I still think Glencore is getting this at about 50% of its value, but it is what it is.
