Why are the dissidents accepting such a low offer?
We all know the valuation should be much higher.
What happens if it is rejected? Can GC just run everything into the ground?
Lessons to be learned - never get involved with a GC backed company. Never get involved in companies with 2 tier voting structures. If directors don't invest in the company, you shouldn't either.

Thre is European smelters MAY come back on line this summer; which woudl crimp the economics on the MOntreal plant. The dissidents did get a reasonable price, and they probably didnt really want to sit on a board with 3 Glencore folks and fight about tghe future of the plant for 3-5 years. I will not be changing my vote; it is still a NO. It just doesnt matter.

Well, the European smelters will probably come back, but its really TC that are the main driver and China determines that. Right now, TC are stable. I could see the board room meetings being interesting. No, the price is half what I expected it would be resolved at.
