re : options
Opinions make markets, and we all have our own reasons for trading as we do.
GRA is a small part of my overall holdings, and until they show some strength i will be patient. I always trade with a stop loss, so if it goes back down i will take a small loss and drive on.This is not "my company", it is a stock, not more, not less.
I do not sense any grand plan to confuse or disadvantage shareholders here, and the last few news announcements have shown good contracts that will benefit the company.
Clearly adoption of graphene is slower than i would like, and perhaps there is time to deploy capital somewhere else for a year or 2 and come back here later.
I did that once before, and it may be the best strategy again, that is OK. First I will see what management has to say, and how they say it.
Putting the NCIB in place confuses me, and I hope it gets clarified. The company has no excess cash, they need to borrow capital to execute the business plan they have, so what has changed to allow them the financial flexibility to buy back shares? If the plan has changed shareholders should have been made aware of that. If the NCIB was an attempt to show support of rthe stock that makes no sense if you cannot actually buy a meaningful amount of shares. Again, full true and plain disclosure please.
1S, I agree that the optics here are not good.
Best of luck
