Besides PDAC , many posts for water treatment .

Chemistry is all about attraction, and that is what makes Neo WaterFX superior for bonding with phosphorus.

If you were able to interview aluminum and iron-based coagulants and asked them how attracted they are to phosphorus the answer would be a tepid, “P is okay, but there are a lot of things I am attracted to just as much. Truth is, I’m just not that into phosphorus.” Which explains why these coagulants require high doses to get to low P limits. They bond with so many other things and often release phosphorus when conditions (dissolved oxygen, pH) change, like in the digester.

Ask the same question of the lanthanide salts in Neo WaterFX and your answer would be an enthusiastic, “I love phosphorus above all others. I bond strongly with P and will never let it go, no matter how conditions change.” Strong ionic bonding leads to lower doses and far superior removal, with no release.

Neo WaterFX 300 brings compliance and process improvements to pharmaceutical pretreatment.

A pharmaceutical industry leader, with a pretreatment limit of 5 ppm total phosphorus, was having difficulty meeting the limit using alum. The alum also created large amounts of chemical sludge. They switched to Neo WaterFX 300 for phosphorus removal and not only met their limit consistently but improved their operation, producing less sludge and clearer effluent. Learn what Neo WaterFX can do for you. https://loom.ly/HFv3Slc

Last week was a busy one in Estonia! I had the pleasure of visiting Neo Performance Materials' midstream rare earth & niobium facility in Sillame. Our team is proud of the operational excellence projects we are executing on and confident for the facility's future outlook. We were also very happy to host two knowledgeable journalists of Deutsche Welle who are covering Europe's industrial base development and rare earth magnet supply chains for the green transition. Finally, I was energized by the excitement of my colleagues and the community from our construction project of Europe's first rare earth magnet manufacturing facility in Narva. We look forward to supplying our EV motor OEM customers with our made-in-EU Magnequench products at the speed of necessity.

Phosphorus removal to low limits with less chemical sludge, clearer effluent
Phosphorus removal to low limits is often unpredictable with inconsistent compliance. Large chemical doses produce large amounts of chemical sludge. But Neo WaterFX provides reliable compliance at very low limits with much less chemical, far less chemical sludge production and improved operations for clearer effluent.
For municipal POTWs or industrial pretreatment, the smart choice is Neo WaterFX for phosphorus.

Winter may be the best time to pilot test phosphorus removal with Neo WaterFX.

To be clear, there is no bad time to pilot test Neo WaterFX for phosphorus removal. BUT winter might be the best time. Why? First, it is easy to work with even in the coldest temperatures due to a very low freezing point. Second, it reduces the need for caustic which is, let’s face it, just an exceptionally difficult chemical in cold weather. Third, you may feel you have more wiggle room (room you won’t need) if you have seasonal limits or no winter limits. So, winter may be the best time to show you how easy compliance can be while simplifying your winter operations.

Lanthanide salts for phosphorus removal may be “innovative” but are not “new”.

Way back in 1970, the Department of Interior was looking for ways to protect water resources by removing more phosphorus from wastewater discharging to those resources. They commissioned an extensive study to evaluate lanthanide salts, the same salts used in Neo WaterFX, vs traditional aluminum salts. What they found was that lanthanide salts are far superior to aluminum salts for removal, providing removal down to the detection limit of the day over a much broader pH range and at much lower doses. https://loom.ly/BS0FN4Q
