If you were bright enough to comprehend the rights plan ?? Coutts has given ( EACH AND EVERY ) shareholder and that INCLUDES the Wyloo Subsidiary!!!! Then Noront become a DULUTED PIG worth WHAT ??? The value stays the same and you fools receive LESS PER SHARE What a crowd of GOOFBALL investors LMFAO @ more stupidity
Comment by greasemonkies on May 30, 2021 9:21am
Curious if Noront does swallow this poison pill scheme, would we actually finally see Noront management finally buy NOT shares, or would it be another free giveaway of shares for great performance incentives? Has Al Coutts actually taken money out of his own wallet to buy Noront shares, instead of millions awarded to himself? NORONT RESOURCES (CVE NOT) INSIDER TRADING HISTORY  ...more

What a goofball you are lou64 peddling disinfo shameful. The company said it would issue one right for each outstanding share, effective May 26, and the right will allow the shareholders, other than the acquiring person and its related parties, to purchase additional shares at a 50 per cent discount to the then prevailing market price.
Comment by halfcentman on May 31, 2021 10:39am
Would Bao be considered a "related party" if they acted in favour of the deal? I have yet to see Wyloo's formal offer to purchase my shares.
Comment by DoctorAuric on May 31, 2021 10:49am
Probably not. Baosteel and Wyloo are distinct insiders.  Why the Canadian government would allow penetration of state-owned CCP steel companies in the Canadian resource sector is a mystery. The token 5.4% stake of Baosteel in Noront was faclitated ostensibly for the purposes of spying on the intellectual property of the corporation. The Chinese were dumping steel in North America for years, ...more

screw you lou. ................. stay tuned .... this is just starting ................ O YAYA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by DoctorAuric on May 31, 2021 6:57pm
you don't know what you're talking about lou64. Whether the rights are included or not, at least 30% of the shares not controlled by Wyloo or Baosteel would have to vote in favor of the deal for 0.315 per share. That is unlikely to occur. Without the rights, they can buy the remainder for about $101M, and with the rights exercised, about $202M. The value of the resource is in the 10s of ...more

That pushes up the approval to around 50%, even harder for Wyloo to achieve. D.O.A.
