Rail Vector = transportation issuies solved for now.
Mattawa's announcement tomorow could be bigger.(partnership)??? I hope so as it would be strategic for everyone to agree to that deal !!! What is left? Oh Ya that pesky nickel deposit. LOL

I think that ore would look quite good on the rail veyor system. I wonder if they would attatch a bar car for the maiden round tripper??

If this Rail-Veyor system is built? I imagine that bulk dry goods could be transported on specially fitted cars to transport daily/weekly to a staging area for surrounding communities. This would certainly be efficient and cost saving way to transport.  If First Nations are equal partners on the infrastructure I believe that this would be required for the surrounding communities if Rail-Veyor ...more

by the time the ore gets to the facilities from the mine it be a pile of fines ( not rock ) - try running production with that material(s) - losses from re-charging to the furnace will be huge - plus going up in smoke and dust - air quality baghouses collection systems will clog  !!!!  Trucking will be fine ..

There is only one way for this to happen and it looks like it's happening. Patience for all concerned is the only way forward. I will loose it all before I give up. But I'm not  much of a gambler

I dont think rail-veyor is that great. I live in sudbury where rail-veyor is based and Vale has one accross from north mine and I have never seen it used in years or ever heard anything great about it.

In those years since then do ya think technogy has improved in the electric vehicle. Noront will never use it anyhow cause it is critical to the future haulage of KWG and cant allow Noront to interupt it and also Noront is/was not interested in rail haulage for 10 years. So just truck it  !!!
