About Noront Resources:
Noront Resources Ltd. is focused on the development of its high-grade Eagle's Nest nickel, copper, platinum and palladium deposit and the world class chromite deposits including Blackbird, Black Thor, and Big Daddy, all of which are located in the James Bay Lowlands of Ontario in an emerging metals camp known as the Ring of Fire.
Speaker Biography:
Alan Coutts, P.Geo
Alan Coutts is President and CEO of Noront Resources. His background includes more than 30 years of domestic and international mining experience across a range of commodities. Before joining Noront, Alan was Managing Director for Australasia with Xstrata Nickel based in Perth, Australia, and prior to that he was General Manager at Noranda's Brunswick Mine in Canada. Alan also served in a variety of roles at Falconbridge, including General Manager, Chief Geologist and Regional Exploration Manager. He is a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo) with an Honours degree in Geology.
