IMHO

Data room closed on friday. 2 bidders.  My reason is that the usual buyers stopped buying today.  Marquerie, Haywood, National, and TD took a break.  After the bids closed date, the bidders would not be allowed to buy shares any longer.  Looking into my crystal ball, I say we hear something Jan 28.

Ard, how do you know the bidding closed with 2 bidders? I would assume that brokerages that are involved in the valuation process would not be able to purchase shares if they had any "inside" knowledge namely Cormark & First Energy Capital. Also, National or any other brokerage if they were privied to "closed bid" information. I did notice Haywood & ...more

it's an observation.  The way that bidders get the money back for the bidding process is by the money they make on buying shares before bidding.  they would have their bank buy the shares and don't have to disclose anything to them.  I am guessing the 2 bidders out of the 4 houses tradig large amounts.  It could be 4 bids for all I know.  there are other things ...more

One day does not make a market.  According to your logic there has been 5 - 6 days this month that bidding has closed.  We have not seen any usual trading.  Yes there have have been a few 1m + trading days this month but for this stock there is nothing unusual if you look at the trading history.  Making such comments is totally irrisposible The company has said that there is no ...more
