Novus

Novus is currently trading at 54,000 per bbl at 78% oil or 69,000 per bbl for the oil only with $0 for the gas.

If NVS goes for even 95,000 for the oil alone you looking at 1.50.  Yup.  This company is asking WAY too much for thier production.  They should be packing it in just like the smartest fact driven brainiacs on this board.

Did I miss a news release, what is the company asking for their production?

Glenn, did you miss something, yes, reading 101. Ard, gave you an example of his opinion of what is actual fact, what NVS is starting for presently and what he believes the stock price would be if they were to receive a higher evaluation. You have your opinion and you entitled to it, however, there are some individuals like myself who do not share your ideas. Only time will tell who is right, but ...more

The statement was made; 'This company is asking WAY too much for thier production.' I'm asking when did the company say this?  When has the company ever said what they are asking for? I have never claimed to value the company.  I'm looking for answers based on fact, not fantasy.  The share price and valuation of the company are rarely the same.

Glenn this is the question I tried to get an answer for from Gaswell...is this what you were menaing when you quoted "'This company is asking WAY too much for thier production." Not disagreeing, just curious if that is what you meant...or did I miss a post lad? "RE: RE: Liquidity event Gaswell2 1/31/2013 3:09:14 PM | | 79 ...more

The statement was made 'This company is asking WAY too much for their Productions' by ardvark11.  I am asking when did the company make it public what they want for the company? Everyone is so focused on production to value the company.  We are selling our assets; our land and land rights, our mineral rights, our pipe line and storage, our reservoir, our reserve.  What is ...more

My belief is nobody knows if there are takers or not. This is all speculation. My guess is we get between 1.25-1.35. Any more than that would be one heck of a bonus. If the market thought we were going to get 1.60 this share price would be much higher than 1.09. The market is generally correct. I suppose we will see soon.>

Glenn I see what you are saying. The last time I checked the NAV of Novus wa $1.64. I am content to wait and see what the sale price will be, if it will sell all. But I am betting there will be a sale. It would be nice to know sooner than later, but I am most hopeful of a good price. I may be dissapointed or elated dependig on what I think a good price is. I am hopeful for a good reserves report ...more
