I wonder if PFS resource will be updated in FS for new drilling result. That is where, I think, mistake was made. There are clearly Li in Northern, high grade, enviromentally neutral zone bellow 150M. The theory is for it and drilling demostrated it, the depth drill was a failure and also, they could use few holes around to prove that it is not one well. If Li content is in 500M with 1000 ...more

...sorry not 300M hole, but 160M hole. After thar Waldo said: We will continue our efforts to extend the resource of the high-grade zone at depth in order to hopefully increase high grade reserves at the final feasibility stage." What does he mean by "continue our efforts..." More drills or more paperwork? Both are good, but it is first one that help s/p to fly.

Drilling deeper. Didn't they report last "failed" hole at 160m? We at least have to double that and maybe even triple it. The loose "sandy structure" in brine makes drilling more difficult. Maybe they can push through with coring, but than they would possibly not be able to log results. Pressure could be a problem, I'm no driller, just reaching out (anyone can help us ...more

Yes last drilling failed at 160 (they still got sample, though). The statement about "continue efforts..." was in the same report. I would expect new drillings after financing and as you said with more capable hands (JV partner help). It is unlikely NLC will have time before FS (and there is need to preserve $). If NLC will get EIC acceptance by August, we will have fun right after. Too ...more

supersceptic, there's much fun to be had already today. Just look at page 350 of the PFS. Where do we see NLC in the 2025 graph? Right! By far the cheapest brine producer worldwide (OPEX) and a very close second to the worlds cheapest producer at Thacker pass. Have fun.

RuudinFrance: "... By far the cheapest brine producer worldwide (OPEX) and a very close second to the worlds cheapest producer at Thacker pass." That is good, especialy since Thacker pass uses not yet proven on practice Li leaching, and cost is down due to presence of sub-products, both are risky compare to beaten to death brine evaporation technique.
